About Us

Welcome to our blog!

Good Luck Green is both the name of this blog and the name our property. We live in rural New England and are trying to balance a life of both modern convenience and homesteading simplicity. We have a small hobby farm which we are constantly adding too as well as two kids and of course we both work. 

We hope to use this blog to share a few areas of our lives with the world. I, Chuck, will be posting a bunch of projects and rustic builds that I have done around the house. Let's take a moment and describe my building methods so that you know what you are getting into. I am more more focused on frugality and functionality than overall finish. It just has to work well and preferably I get to use a chainsaw somewhere in the mix.

and I, Becky will be posting up recipes and cooking adventures. I am always trying new ideas and recipes. I am trying to move away from the processed food on the go way of life and moving toward a better understanding and connection with what we eat every day.

And both of will be sharing details and stories of our small farm life intertwined with the raising of a family and handling our professional careers.
